KES Lighting & Home, established more than 35 years ago, is one of the leading companies in home lighting based in the UK. This client came to us looking for a new front-end to their existing Magento 2 ecommerce site, with 3 key requirements;
They wanted to rebrand to promote a luxury, high-end look and feel to the site.
They wanted to expand their existing product catalogue to include homeware products (previously just lighting).
They wanted their new front-end to be lightning fast in preparation for Google’s algorithm update.
We worked closely with the team at KES Lighting & Home to redesign their entire site, and redevelop it using Hyvä Themes. We designed and developed a bespoke ecommerce site with performance always at the forefront of mind. We developed a number of custom extensions that were not compatible with Hyvä out-of-the-box, such as an Instagram feed and layered navigation.
We also implemented the Hyvä Checkout to increase the page speed performance of the checkout page and reduce checkout abandonment. The new Hyvä Checkout that we deployed, reduced checkout abandonment by 20%.
Using Hyväs fantastic products we were able to develop this site in a much shorter time than what the standard Magento 2 front-end would have taken.
